Yanick Paquette and Karl Story Uncanny X-Men #512 Story Page 22 Original Art (Marvel, 2009). The Hellfire Club of the early 20th century San Francisco has developed a precursor to the mutant-hunting Sentinels and has kidnapped the genius inventor Dr. Nicola Bradley to create a power source. Since a cornerstone of the X-Books is familial connection, the Black King of the Hellfire Club depicted here is Cornelius Shaw, grandfather to Sebastian Shaw (the resemblance is uncanny), while Dr. Bradley is the father of the X-Men's resident mad scientist, Dr. Nemesis. BAGLEY JLA splash featuring a giant-sized Congo Bill. Back in his days as Publisher of DC Comics, Carmine mentioned on numerous occasions that Giant Apes always added a boost in sales. Let's see if they add a boost to the final auction price for this beautiful splash
