Shipping Insurance for Cards sent 1 1

I am new to card grading, I recently just sign up to CGC and plan on sending some cards to get graded. Can someone help guide me through the process and how do I buy shipping insurance? Is it better to shipped with FedEx or USPS? Thank you.

Happy to help with your inquiry. If you are interested in submitting cards to us for grading, you can become member of our Collector's Society. We have both free and paid memberships starting at $25 (which include discounts on submissions). You can sign up for membership here:  Join CGC

You can find more information on how to start submitting cards online at  How To Submit. You’ll need to have a general idea of the value of each card to help select which grading “tier” or category to submit the card under. You can find all of our grading tiers and fees here: CGC Cards Services and Fees. Complete the online form and then print your packing slip and this is what will go in your box with your cards. 

The inbound shipping selection is totally up to you! Feel free to choose the carrier that best fits your needs. Many carriers offer insurance options and would be able to best advise on what those options/fees/processes look like.
