i sort of figured, but it was the only Nedor in the auction. i was like, "damn, Jeff, you go dawg," or something similar. forgot about the whole Schombur War Cover thing til you posted the actual book.

Just for some perspective on the Wonder #5...the Rockford copy, also a 9.4, sold for $1840 over 3 years ago. And I'd rather have this copy, without the messy Rockford ink stamp on the cover.

If that is the same FF 48 9.8 that was on Pedigreecomics, the price went from 15k to 11k to 7150.00. Quite the drop.

Interesting cover. I like how the Japanese are holding American civilians in an internment camp. Now, my history is a bit rusty, but wasn't it America who put Japanese Americans into camps and not the other way around? Very cool piece of history you have there.
