I've owned this since the 60s, part of my personally-bought Silver Age Marvel collection. 

I have two questions-  Is this worth getting graded/slabbed?

     And I saw that a colored background to scans or photos is recommended. Isn't it easier to determine the degree of off-whitedness of a book when contrasted with a pure white background? Just wondering...

I think the size of the missing piece would be just over the bar to get a 0.5, but close to a NG. The only reason to grade this would be to make sure it stays in one piece.
