“For Marvel Use Only” Stamp 2 2

Has anyone ever seen a “For Marvel Use Only” red stamp in a comic book? I just bought a collection in SF and quite a few of them have it stamped on the inside. Came from a collection from the “Classico San Francisco” who made licensed post cards, magnets, posters, etc. I found an invoice from marvel licensing to the Classico and figured they were ones used for scanning/printing? I can’t seem to find any info on these existing elsewhere. The books I’ve found so far include 

Uncanny X-Men #286, X-Men #1,4, and ASM #346,347, 361, 363, and X-Force #6.

So C.B. Cebulski messaged me on IG saying that Marvel Staff copies would usually have these stamps. Still weird almost no one has seen these before.

There are lots of examples with "COMPLIMENTARY COPY" stamped on the front cover, but I've never seen this type of stamp.

My thought is that marvel would send these books to this company so they could scan and make posters, pins, magnets, etc.. Since these were used in Licensed merchandise Marvel would have stamped with these differently.
