Dynamic #24 March 1948 Chessler/Superior Pubs Canada

Dynamic Man story. Wild crime. Woman hit by car, Rough physical violence and shooting. Fat 68 page issue.

Book has seen a lot of water damage. Rippled through entire book. Rusty staples. Staples popped and book is neatly detached from covers. Book well bound though. No pieces missing. Complete with supple pages.  Tough end of the run issue.

You have some of the most "well loved" books on the boards in your sales. But you know what? The fact you bought them makes me realize you truly enjoy reading comics. I know you have pedigrees, but I'm more impressed by the thought that these are books you bought when many others would have passed them by. Great to see these reading worth books getting passed around.

I have picked up many large collections over the years of GA books. You get some nice ones and you get some not so nice ones. I love GA books. A lot I just read and put away. I upgrade many of the ones I like the best when I can. Then, I pass them on to folks like me that just want to own them and read them at a good price.

Prices have just gone to the moon on old books now. The average folks just can't justify them any more. I usually sell to folks like myself. People who like to open the covers and discover great contents. There are more of us than you might think. I usually do very well at local shows often being the only one with books of this vintage in the room. The readers and hole fillers are happy to stack them up. Here, folks are a lot more choosey. I see plenty of wonderful, high-grade books just going unsold. If most of these were high grade in a slab, they probably wouldn't sell either. You want quality, you pay the price. If you want a reader or filler to enjoy, I'm your guy.

That being said, how about a few more?

Scarce book only two issues in run. Lots of shooting and violence. Girl in bra, prison escape...

Covers are split and  neatly detached. Small tape pull in upper right corner. Full, bright cover.Yellowed interior paper with no damage.

Violent car crash cover. Meskin art

Rolled and flat spine. Large tear in cover mended by tape on the inside. Couple small splits at top and bottom spine. Bright, well attached copy with very nice interior pages.

Classic Electric Chair cover. Best cover in the run? Jerry Robinson art. Forte story a la Fox.

Lots of bug damage at spine. Back cover has a couple small pieces missing. Covers still bound to book. Distributor mark on cover in grease pencil. Bright and complete with full front cover. White interior paper.

Tight, clean copy. Smooth, tight spine. Cover well attached to book and centerfold. Glossy and bright with no splits, tears, creases or missing pieces. Tiny scuff in the "S" of the title. Back cover has a small spot in upper left corner. Just the most minute wear. Off white/white interior pages.

Slight spine roll as printed. Small piece of tape or two at top of top left corner. Small, neat tear at bottom right. Light dust shadow on top back cover. Bright, clean with just minor wear. Everything snugly attached. Yellowed and supple interior pages.

A nice, flat, bright complete copy. No tears, creases, splits or pieces missing. Both staples have a tiny bit of staple rust and are neatly popped on from only. Cover still bound to book. Very slightly yellowed pages with no damage.
