DC Gorilla Covers are pretty great as well

Its nice that the Gorilla let Jimmy be the Groom, but we all know who wears the pants in that relationship

I've been going ape for bizarre pulp covers lately. An evil clown shooting a crazed gorilla in the face?? because reasons?? The artist could pretty much retire after knocking out this masterpiece.

When Jim Starlin signed this for me at Baltimore Comic Con he told me covers with Gorillas were usually big sellers.

That goes way back to Julie Schwartz recognizing that fact and as a result there were a lot of gorilla covers on DC books from the 50s onward.
