Too many Generals here.

I have been around for a long time just checking in because I had to sell my collection a few years ago. this time I am back with a vengence and doing things differently. I am starting from the top.

Well I hope too. 893crossfingers-thumb.gif

I am inches away from confirming my ability to get that Bat 1 in January.

I ask all of you to pray for me in whatever form you choose.

Marshall

MacArthur

Arnold (Never heard of this guy)

and you forgot George Washington! news.gif

action1kid already named the 5-star generals. I said 5-star admirals. You know, the navy guys? poke2.gif

Hap Arnold was the head of the Army Air Corps (which became the Air Force) during WWII.

Basically, the rule to becoming a 5-star general is you have to fight a world war. So I guess it's just as well we haven't had any 5-star generals in a while.

Navy 5-star Admirals:

Admiral William D. Leahy

Admiral Ernest J. King

Admiral Chester Nimitz

Admiral William F. "Bull" Halsey

BTW, George Washington is a "six-star" General - by an act of Congress in 1976, Washington was granted "precedence over all other grades of the Army, past and present."
