I recently saw a job posting for a manga expert and am very excited to learn CGC will be getting into the grading of these publications. Will new slabs be developed for the thick manga books such as Weekly Shonen Jump? I have the 1972 #42 issue featuring the first appearance of Mazinger Z and would absolutely love to get it graded and slabbed!

Unfortunately, we can not offer any insight into this program yet as it has not been officially announced yet. Be on the lookout for an announcement regarding this with more information on encapsulations, certifications, and grading. We also do not have a public timeline on when this is expected. I am sorry for the inconvenience.
