how will this effect grade (with photos)

Hi, just wondering how will this effect thegrade of a book, as u can see its a dent on the top right corner of the comic, the dent seems to go all the wya through the comic, even to the back cover, it looks like the corner was pressed against something, anywya hard to explain, here r the pics...

Doesn't help and takes it lower than a 9.2 in my opinion.

The last pic seems to show a book length crease.

Hmm...looks like a modern. Assuming everything is perfect. The Grading Bastiche says 8.0. But it is correctable. In about 10 years or so, if stacking doesn't help...Send it in, if it is collectible at 9.6.

I have seen a CGC 9.0 VF/NM book with other defects in addition to the one you mentioned so I would guess the defect itself is a 1/4-1/2 point deduction or so. The book was a bronze one so I am not sure if a modern could get a 9.4 NM.

On a modern book, I'd say that flaw alone would drop it to an 8.5.
