Here's one for you Hawkeye Fans! TOS #57 1st App and Origin 1964

This is a really cool issue, even if this copy is a little rough. In addition to the visible defects, it has the indent of the name Stephen Gillespi in the center of the FC, as though Stephen wrote his name on another piece of paper while on top of the book. There are also two 5" non-coloring breaking folds to the front and back cover.

 

Still, a solid collectible copy with very good structure - let's see if you agree with my grade.

I'd say with the URFC and the tape pull near the 'N" of the FC, it holds on for a 4.0..

i think the book looks better than this grade but with the 3 significant "hidden" defects that you pointed out, would guess that we're all about in the right ballpark here........
