Can people Cancel Heritage Bids

I was outbid in an auction a couple of days ago, but then I go an e-mail that I was high bidder again - I didn't think you could cancel Heritage bids. Can you?

I was outbid in an auction a couple of days ago, but then I go an e-mail that I was high bidder again - I didn't think you could cancel Heritage bids. Can you?

 

I don't think they like to cancel bids, but I would imagine if someone says they are absolutely not going to honor their bid, then you really have no choice if you want to have a shot a selling and getting paid for the item. I do know that there have been times when the winner of an auction doesn't pay them. It's happened to me before... and sucks!

All one needs to do is write Heritage and say "Opps, I made a mistake in my bidding, please retract Bid 'X' from Auction 'Y. Not common but it happens.
