It's not my book but it looks like a small piece out (the black is part of the cover, not a spine split). These scans I got stink.

 

Major problems with the book are: general spine wear, 1/4" tear back cover, small stain back cover, sun shadow front cover, 1/4" X 1/8" piece out lower right corner of back cover (about a 1/4" up from the spine).

I would say a 6.0. I would be surprised if they go higher. The front cover looks great. I would buy it.

It says unrestored. I can return it if it comes back restored but I've seen tons of Bat titles with a similar top edge miscut.

I wasn't talking about how it looks shifted in the trim process, just how perfrect the edge looks.

cant tell w.o. holding it. 2D gives books no justice. but looks trimmed to me too. no paper feathering at top of crease, but is on side. hope we are wrong!
