Shipping valuable comics from the UK to the USA

Can any of the UK collectors tell me the best method for shipping a small number of CGCed comics from the UK to the USA, with full insurance (up to say £2500). From the royal mail website, the international insurance limit appears to be £500 and the item classification appears uncertain - certain items are not covered such as antiques (I suspect collectables including comics will fall into the same category - particularly if a claim has to be made).

Use Parcelforce Worldwide...should get the cover, no problem, and over a certain weight, it's also cheaper.
