February No Reserve CGC Silver and Bronze Age Auction (Ends over Two Nights)

Starts 2/19 - Ends 3/1: Over 250 ultra high-grade issues from the Don Rosa collection. All are CGC Graded.

Wasn't Ewert seen grabbing a long box of Rosa's at San Diego?

Any idea where else these might be coming from? Wyatt?

They won't be from Wyatt, as he said that he was instructed to sell everything on eBay.

Doubtful it's Steve Wyatt as he has been running all auctions on ebay.

Who knows? If it is Ewert or a filter through Ewert, so be it. Hopefully it will be exposed, then we'll all get excited -- but at the end of the day, we can't stop Jason from selling books: if he's going to sell, he'll sell. But right now it's idle speculation. Love for Josh to confirm or deny one way or another so we don't guess forever.

Could be a collector who bought a bunch and got them slabbed or any number of possibilities.

These books at the shows were prime for someone like EWERT. most of the books were 8.5 to 9.2's so if you were to press and maybe trim you could get a ton more 9.4's.

How is this?

Thats not true. he was only instructed to sell the graded books through ebay. You could buy boxes and boxes of the collection if you wanted to. You just had to go to one of the shows he attended. Steve stated that he cherry picked the books he felt were 9.4 or better and had something like a 90% + with getting books 9.4 or better back from CGC.

Yeah, I meant the graded books. We aren't talking about any raw books on ComicLink.

A lot of people were buying raw Rosa books in bulk. So after getting them graded they could be from just about anyone.

Steve Wyatt told me he tried to get the best copies graded and/or better selling titles. the rest would be sold raw.
