I know I just saw these on some Silver age X-men listed by a forumite, but if anyone else knows:

 

I forget what exactly is the deal with Silver Age Marvel with this price scheme "1/-"

 

Is this a UK pence/shilling variant?

It is indeed a British price indication, my variant-obsessed friend.

I believe these are the oldest comics with a British price indication (before this, the price was stamped on), after the "1/-" shilling indication, came the 9P and then then 10P
