OK, when CRISIS ended, all the heroes who had gone back to the beginning of time remembered all the different Earths.

 

But in the last few years, it was established that only the Psycho Pirate remembered the different Earths.

 

What happened in the meantime?

Seriously, DC should have rebooted everything when the original happened so questions like yours would not be raised. Nobody should have remembered and all the pre-Crisis stories should not have been incorporated. There should have been a new Barry Allen and the sattelite era JLA should not have happened.

Hmm, I don't know if it was different in the books but in the trade it shows that at the end of COIE the only one to remember the mulitverse was Psycho Pirate. That's why in IC Alex Luthor needs him to help locate the different heroes that represent the different energy signatures for the different earths (as explained in IC #5). Now there were other heroes that later became aware of the pre-Crisis earths such as Donna Troy and Power Girl but that has happened just recently in the story for IC and the Return of Donna Troy mini-series.
