I'll post the scan of the book I recieved and it looks worse then the picture in the auction.It arrived in a very thin bag with no backing.

Hi Topofthetotem,

 

I just received a VF- Jungle 133 from them and it

graded out as described. It did, however, arrive

in a plastic sleeve with no backing. It was

surrounded by peanuts in a USPS box.

I don't have a scanner, but I'll take a pic of it when I get home

later on tonight... around 11ish MST. I'm an insufficiently_thoughtful_person when it

comes to uploading things onto these boards, but if you go

to his feedback, my ebay handle is danogold3 and I just left

feedback two days ago for the JUNGLE... note his description

of the tear on the middle cover which he could have skipped

over but is definitely there upon up close inspection.

I bought one book from him that was graded acuratly...his packing has much to be desired though...luckily the book made it safely...

Here is a scan of the jag #1

Notice the circle chip out of the cover about an inch from the bottom of the spine. This hole goes through 2 pages into the book..

Also notice the two white line in the shaded part of the tail. That is a cresent shapped tear that goes about 5 pages into the book.

Now there is general edge wear as mentioned in the listing but not these two major defects.

there are about four line indentations on the cover about an inch in length.

and the top staple is about half way to being a staple pop.

Yeah, my experience with the Bethlehem Archie titles is that the spines are usually not good, with staple pulls and splits

I would not mind if it was advertised with the defects listed properly.

It was listed with a nice spine but compared with the defects I listed and if you compare the photos from ebay and my scanned image is this a vf???

Still a nice copy of a tough book to find in HG....

am satisfied with the grading, just disappointed in the packing.
