Purchased from ebay. How did the seller grade it and what grade do you think it is? (No cheating with ebay searches!)

 

No hidden flaws. Back cover is consistant with front.

I give it 6.5; dealer gave it a 9.4 and suggested it had 9.8 "potential".

I always bid on ebay (even with a big scan) allowing for a 1.0 margin of error. Dealer claimed it was 8.0... so if it's a 7.0, I'm okay with it.

 

It's probably a 7.0 IMO... maybe a 7.5. The top left spine corner looks a lot worse on the scan than it does in-hand for some reason.

 

Anyway, a pretty decent book from 1959.
