Shipping a slab TO Canada ??

6 posts in this topic

I have someone wanting a slab to go to Toronto, no, it's not Chris.

What is the safest way to get it there, as-in, to make sure buyer

actually gets the book. High rated buyer on ebay, but I've been

bitten on the fanny before.

Generally USPS Global Priority is a sure bet for shipping to Canada.

If you have/want to insure it, use Global Express Mail - this is an expensive option, but worth it for high-ticket items.

In both cases, fill out the appropriate customs form.

air parcel post with insurance if necessary...

That's definitely it, and I would not recommend any Global Priority for Canada, as I get Airmail faster and with fewer problems. Crossing the border ain't like crossing the ocean, boy!

For comics uninsured: Air Letterpost (cheap and fast)

For comics Insured: Air Parcel + Insurance

And I have yet to lose a comics package, other than one that one a 893censored-thumb.gif893censored-thumb.gif893censored-thumb.gif never sent and relisted the next week. grin.gif
