Daredevil #138 CGC 9.6

No way.

 

Someone dropped the ball on this copy.

 

Missing chips, small tears will keep a book out of the VF/NM range let alone a 9.6.

Once again, if CGC rates it as a "production defect" it would have no problem on a 9.8 copy.

 

They may not allow it for a 9.8, but 9.6 & below they do. I remember a book that had a small piece missing on the LRC of the back cover...and it came back 9.4

Have you seen some of Greggy's "nut-sack creased" CGC 9.8 copies? Much worse than this, and the official word was that production defects do not affect CGC 9.8 and below (with exceptions for really freaky stuff).

Is this allowed in 9.6 grade ?
