A little tear on the TLFC and a couple of spine tics.

On the back spine it's hard to tell if it has more creases due to slight dirt.

I would say 8.5+ to 9.0 range to be safe.

From the Front it looks like a very attractive copy. The "dirt" on the back is most likely more a trait of Magazine stacking once hot off the press and the books rubbing in thier stacks...No? It's not foxing/finger oils.

 

I say solid VF+ 8.5. And think it would have a possible shot at VF/NM 9.0.

I agree that the dirt appears to be a non-issue, as it would easily clean . . . but it does help reveal the extent of the spine creasing, which in and of itself I think limits the grade 893scratchchin-thumb.gif
