1st ST #9: Have to go 4.5 with the big crease.

 

2nd ST #9: 7.0 should do it, mostly dropped for spine corner dings.

 

(Swampy sure looks greener on the second cover, doncha think?)

6.0; it is a big crease, but not terrible. It would have to be a sub crease to bring it down to the grade of 4.5

How I graded before posting scans:

 

First copy ST #9: I really didn't know how to approach the large corner crease so I waited to hear opinions.

 

Second copy ST #9: I had this at about 7.5. It's a pretty solid copy except for the upper left corner on the front and corner impact (ULC/LRC).

You guys may well be right on the big crease. The 8.0-ish ASM #71 I had up a few weeks back had a similar crease, and most people dropped it to 4.5, but now that I think about it this ST #9 is sharper overall & probably deserves a higher grade. But if I were selling, I'd probably still call it no higher than 5.5 just to be on the safe side.
