Does this Auction Strike Anyone as a bit Insane?

I don't think it's ever worthwhile to pay that for LG. If you want to read it, get a reprint. If you want it for the value, scrape up another $100 and get a better copy.

This is the same guy that was selling this book in NM- about 2 months ago..so unless he's just using the same scan as before..then I'd guess he either grossly misgraded the original book or his NM and his VG look a lot alike. :\

It wasn't a month or two ago that I posted an auction with a VF+ ASM 129 with a BIN of $135 (from a reputable seller with a killer scan) and was hedging whether to buy it. It ended up going for just under that amount (in open bidding) if I'm not mistaken.

I'm not against low-grade, but I'm also realistic, which is why my last VG/F copy was nabbed on a $19.99 BIN. Otherwise, I'm looking at VF or higher.

.........you could easily get an equvilent grade cgc copy for that price................at least if you are going to spend that much on a VG/F book you want to be SURE that it is VG/F.......... grin.gif

........the winning bidder could end up with a GD/VG copy for $100+............ crazy.gif
