I would have refunded the $1.30 with a note of apology. The buyer paid for insurance and did not receive it. He does not know you and really has no idea that you would have covered his loss in the event something happened.

Fact is he paid for something he did not receive. IMHYWO.

What's the problem here? He PAID you an extra $1.30 for insurance. You did not buy the service. He wants his money back and I don't blame him. It doesn't matter if the package got there safely or not. He paid for a service you didn't provide. Where's the $1.30 now? If it's in your pocket, you're dead wrong and no better than all the other dealers that overcharge for shipping. Mistake or not. I can't believe you're trying to defend this type of behavior..... mad.gif
