What was the last page about, besides for a bunch of Advertisements?

If it was the Letters page, then i'll miss it, but not enough to make me back down from this.

 

Last page of the ASM #21 is a "pin-up page" of Spidey. Very common that it was removed. But long as the story's complete, no worries. The early Ditko Spidey books are awesome...I think you wisely invested your $20, Silvers. Congrats! thumbsup2.gif

The page in question is a full-page "pin-up" drawing of Spidey meant to be torn out of the book and hung up on walls, which plenty of kids did. From memory, ASM #3, #10, #20, Annuals #1 & #2 (and probably a few others?) have similar pinup pages in the back, which are sometimes missing from copies of those issues.

I just picked up a copy with the splash page today along with an incredible group of books

 

ASM 1-140

AF 15

XMEN 1-150 or so

DD 1-50

Strange Tales 101 up there quite a ways

Silver Surfer 1-18

Nick Fury Set

Marvel Team up 1-18 or so

 

 

I think that's about it. Buy this stuff first, and then you'll all get preferential treatment on the collection. SEE the ASM 50 and SS 4 in the grading forum.

Anyway, wouldn't it make sense for buyers to buy the best stuff first since it is the most expensive, and then spend their left overs on the lesser stuff.

I'm going to start posting some of this SA collection that you're seeing in the grading forum in a new thread as early as tonight. Starting slow and ramping up. Keep a watch out, as I'm a night owl. If not tonight, then

 

PM requests and I'll try to check grades and conditions.

 

Some will go to CGC (ie SS 3, 4, 6) unless I get a very good offer in the raw.

 

Some Keys may go to CGC depending on current demand.
