Continuing on Bob Powell, after his Horror story and his Weird story, here's a Jungle story. This is the first Cave Girl story and origin from Cave Girl # 11 who is really #1 which is really A-1 Comics # 82 (Gotta love GA numbering) -

Forging ahead with our exploration of Bob Powell and his genre shifting capabilities, here's a Western Lemonade Kid story by Powell in Bobby Benson # 4, this is the earliest Powell story I've posted (1950) -

Thanks for the heads-up! Pretty unusual reference, especially in a western. I think the writer has his facts straight -- HCN is evolved when silk and some other materials burn.
