book is not brittle, appears to be a dust shadow on back cover. small piece of tape stuck to cover. I might be able to remove it but not trying yet. another LCS purchase on the very very cheap. Both staples firmly attached.

I pretty much hate tape, so I'd say 3.0 with a lot of appeal.

 

and yes, I know it's about a 4.5

those aren't creases on back cover, just the line of the dust shadow if that matters to any future graders.
