WOW. Grade this beauty. SHSL 1!

Just a gorgeous copy with jet blacks, bone white pages, and full gloss. Here is the kicker though. There are three non-color breaking dents or indentations (each 3-4" long) running through the castle on the cover. They don't show up in the scan, but you can see them in-hand. Without them the book is almost perfect. With them?

Great book. I'd probably have to say strict 7.0/7.5, only because I can't see the flaw being allowable in VF or higher. What do the rest of you think?

The lines really show up in the other pic...without them, it looks like a 9.4...with them, I don't think it can be above an 8.5...

Tough book to grade with the flaws. 7.5 I say but it presents so much nicer that I would take it any day of the week. Is there a way to track people on ebay so I can follow October around? Talk about finding nice stuff and cheap.

The Grading Bastiche says 8.0. Though, that's the only flaw and barely one at that. I would certainly pay you double what you paid for that one however. You made a very decent purchase.
