my kids are a great charity, but comics4kids seems like a great idea for another box. I think there are a few teachers on the boards that also accept comics for their classrooms.

jonjesper is a teacher and would be an excellent choice for those books. From the sound of it, he really promotes comic reading to his students. I can confirm i actually sent books to a school but who knows he could be stalking the mailbox or have a deal with the postman to get the mail from there

I was watching those catman books and almost bid. Glad I didn't as you would have been paying a bit more. Now I know your ebay handle......mines a tough one....same as here.

I have about 60-70 books that didn't fit into my last box to Comics4Kids and I'd like to donate them somewhere. As I recall, at one point somebody here was looking for a donation of books to a school, and I think I recall Jim posting an address for sending books to our military over in the Middle East?

 

In any event, if anyone has suggestions or knows of a worthy charity that could use these, please PM me.

I know him pretty well...

Yeah I get as many comics as I can into the hands of my students...last year over 500+ to kids throughout the school, but...if you are in Mr. J's room, you get spoiled!

 

Pirate (among others) donated some Romita TPBs to my classroom/library. I ended up giving them out to my kids. I had them all take an X-Men quiz among other quizzes. They have to name as many as they can within 5 minutes. They just love it and it promotes reading.
