To me, the entire cover looks bad. The characters seem superimposed on the background, as if the cover was created using bad green screen technology.

Nice books, though, best of luck selling them.

gossip.gif Of course, you know that Jack Kirby drew the FF in this comic, but Stan Lee had Wally Wood draw Daredevil because he wanted the character to look the way Wood drew him..... Hence the look as though it was done by someone else, cuz it was!

I always hated how DD looked on this cover. For me, he always ruined this otherwise beautiful cover. 893censored-thumb.gif

screwy.gif This is a classic cover!!!

Classic? As in old? That has to be the worst FF cover there is. It's dreadful at best.

Still a nice copy though. grin.gif

I'm actually kinda interested in the #39. 893scratchchin-thumb.gif Could you scan the back cover, is the lower staple discolored, the creases next to invisible woman how far up do they go, and what is the paper quality? I find it hard to get copies 39 and 40 in mid or so grades with nice eye appeal. This one is border line IMHO based on the scan. confused-smiley-013.gif

Thanks.
