anyone here actaully crack open a cgc case before? I'd have to say deffinitly not... though it should hold up if you clean it right away, I wouldn't be dumping it into any tubs or anything though.... inside the cgc case the cgc book it self is inside a sealed plastic bag or abag of some sort I got a8.5 one for $5 of a newer book off the bay a bit ago...

 

I cracked it open to use as a case to store stuff I actaully want to get graded heh

David; being that the internal plastic casing is heat sealed heavy duty Barex (i believe), why wouldn't they be waterproof???

 

not saying that you could just leave them lying around in water or really high humidity for very long, but it would seem that short term exposure would be OK??
