PGM X-Men #109 - First Weapon Alpha/Vindicator

Hey Guys!

 

I was fortunate enough to score this X-Men #109 in an Alpha Flight lot and I was thinking about submitting it to CGC as I love the cover and I am a big Alpha Flight/Wolverine fan. Anyways, what do you guys think the CGC rating would be?

The Grading Bastiche says...8.0. That back cover is pretty dirty and the spine ticks take it out of the VF/NM range.

Yeah dude the back cover sucks. I think it's going to sink me.

 

I am probably just going to have to try and score a high grade copy off ebay.

My guess is 7.5 because of that top corner crunch & spine wear. Still a cool book!

Yeah for free it isn't half bad at all! Just don't think I will bother to CGC it and keep it as a reading copy. I always like to have one slabbed and one for reading.

I agree with 7.5-8.0. It's tough to tell how CGC will take a dirty cover and a corner scrunch like that on any given day.

 

Nice cover, though.

 

Just buy a pre-slabbed slabbed one if you're lookining for higher-grade
