*NEW* Ghost Rider #1 - Silvestri Varaints -

Marc Silvestri is one of my favorite artists and I always scoop up any of his variant covers. I knew today's Ghost Rider #1 would ship with a 1:15 Color cover and a 1:30 Sketch cover.

 

My local store wanted to charge me $19 for the color and $39 for the sketch. I declined the offer.

 

I called another store and they have the color for $8.95 and the sketch for $24.95.

I asked them to hold me a color. $8.95 sure as heck beats $19. Its not cover price but under $10 aint bad for a variant these days(in my opinion).

 

I do not think I will spend #25 on the sketch cover though. I am a big Silvestri fan and that sketchy Ghost Rider is mighty sweet but I just can't do it. What do you think? Obviously I am second guessing my decision of "not to buy".

I turned down the Ghost Rider variants today. But, I did buy the Ultimate FF #31 Suydam variant (love those gorgeous painted covers!) for $15, as well as X-men #188 variant for $25.
