* First three pages are clipped at the corners. Note: Does not affect story or panels

* Piece missing from back cover

* Small defects on comic front and back cover

 

Asking:

 

1. What is the grade and is it worth slabbing?

and, no it's not worth slabbing. IMO, books of this type/condition sell better raw than slabbed.

Should I have the tape removed or leave as is? It will still comeback restored due to color touch but will the apparent grade be higher if tape is removed?

I personally would leave that decision to the book's new owner. I don't think you're going to signficantly change the grade by removing the tape.
