Schomburg fans might want to take a look at this site of science-fiction paperbacks. Many cover images, and more on other pages (Page précédente -- Page suivante in case you can't read French). Of the pages I've looked at so far, all the Schomburgs seem to be on page 6.

Virgil Finlay's B&W art from pulps was a big influence on me in the late '70's and early '80's. I haven't seen as much of his color work. Here's a page with some decent examples of B&W art:
