USM #97

The first part of the clone saga.

 

I thought it was pretty good. I know many have lamented the demise of the quality on this series, but this issue made me wanting more. What did others think?

I don't think any arcs in this series have been worse than those before it. I personally like this series and the direction its going.

First USM I've picked up in a while, but I'm curious where this is going....I wanted to start again since a lot of questions are supposed to be answered in #100.

Well, Venom still is #1, but I like Carnage little more.

I don't think I have 50 of them, but I definitely have a bunch. I honestly don't remember ever buying it though. Weird.

I think they came to me when my old LCS went under and the owner thrust box after box upon me because he just didn't want to deal with them anymore.

I actually was okay with Ultimate Carnage. Probably because I loved that Gwen's lost image was Peter killing her (Carnage projecting/molding his face into Peter's image). I did think they killed Gwen's ultimate character off WAY too fast though.

 

Especially when they had him dump Mary Jane so fast anyway.

I liked it. Interesting touch on Ultimate Scorpion .... although it was very predictable, before I even read the issue.
