My subject is tongue-in-cheek, but I'm reminded of that guy (can't recall his user name) that collected coins and got all kinds of help when he said he was thinking of collecting comics....

That old thread was started because we were debating the general helpfulness and responsiveness to newbies exhibited by the comics area as opposed to the coin area. As you can see from my thread, I was foiled in my folly by nothing but graciousness. Dang them to Heck!
