Boy, that's a funny one! Hard to believe the bottom two inches belongs to the same book. Just a bit too much chipping & damage for a straight VG, IMO...I'll call it 3.5. Very nice!

The top 7/8 looks like a 7.0...and then ugh...

Have to call it a 4.5...can't see lower, as even the bottom part looks consistent with a 4.0 condition.....

Without those defects, the book is a 8.0+. Are you willing to drop it 5 spots because of the damage? It affects about 10% of the front cover and 25% of the back cover. I dont think it drops the book that far.

i was thinking around 7.0+ until i scrolled down to the last two inches....

 

too bad, but that's a lot of damage to both front and back covers and i'm thinking around a 3.0, as well..............
