Top staple slightly indented, minor spine creasing, perhaps some fingerprinting along the LEBC . . . I still think it should have garnered an 8.0 - put me on Joey's wagon . . .

I don't think so. It wasn't noted in the grader notes.

Could you post the notes for this book and the Tales of Suspense #58? Both books seem to be calling for a resubmission.

Yes, notes would be helpful. Any defects to the pages we cannot see in the scans? Based on what you are saying I am very surprised at the 7.0 grade.

I think a 7.0 is right. I had it at a 7.0/7.5 before I read what it got from CGC. There seems to be some sort of stain on the back cover, bottom edge. Also there's a good amount of spine creasing...

I don't think this is a CGC book. I think it's the other guys. Look at the well, CGC doesn't use that type of well on silver age books.
