Wow. Incredible. Has this piece been on the market before?

 

Sold in 2002 or so by Heritage. For a lot less than is being asked now.

 

This is a very interesting and historically significant piece.

It sold -- there was fairly heated bidding between 2 phone bidders. I think everyone else dropped out at about the 20k level.

I thought it was pretty cool when it went on Heritage the 1st time, but given it is not from a published book even though it has a lot of history behind it. The price realized on Heritage before seems more in line. If I had the cash, I would definitely take the Batman 11 cover over it.
