My guess would be 5.0. No major defects, just corner rounding, some dings, and a couple of spine stresses. Nice presentable copy that I would love to own.

Biggest trouble looks to be the damage along the botton of the back cover.

If that chip only affects the cover - 5.5

If it hurts one or two pages - 5.0

If it goes deep into the book - 4.5

5.0 was my first impression. I love this cover. I owned a VF/NM but tanning copy about 15 years ago.

It affects a few pages... I agree, it's the biggest trouble spot... at least it's on the back!
