Personally, I like the idea of having cheap reprints of old comics. I like the TPB format for moderns, but I like having "pamphlets".

Not sure how brilliant the choice of newspapers was, although there's no telling what the details of those decisions entailed. Did you check the list for NC? Doesn't look like it's in any of the Raleigh, Charlotte, or Greensboro papers. They'd reach a lot more people by using the papers of the biggest cities.

US newspapers are very confusing

The main newspaper in Phoenix doesn't have it Where it where a couple of million people of all ages live.But the Sun City which is a senior citizen community has it. Then the far east side of the valley of the sun gets it and Yuma of all places . Not worth it for me to drive 30+ miles one way to get a copy. Who chose the papers to put these in a (politicially incorrect) ?

Call the N&O and request that they carry this!

 

I am a subscriber to the N&O and I'm going to!

 

 

I just see this as a publicity move to get a smaller papers more readership.

BUT, if a good amount of customers of the N&O step-up and request this in their paper

it might happen. I do I believe this will actually happen? Nope. But it can't hurt.

 

This could be HUGE for us.

Thanks UA, I got my copies.

 

One of the books I got was in pretty bad shape so I gave that one to bud of my mines

kid that likes the movies.

 

 

I wonder if some of the newspaper companies with the left overs would consider

doing a project for the community where is was a "readers for good readers" program...

(like if a student makes good marks he will be rewarded with a "subscription" of these

reprints...)

 

I would love if the newspaper would give me boxes of them at a cheap price to hand out at halloween...

 

 

what do the rest of the people think of this idea??
