Allow me to catch up. I know some will say that STA #2 doesn't belong, but it was the fourth appearance of Spider-Man.

Strange Tales Annual 2 actually is tied with ASM 4 as Spidey’s fifth overall appearance ever. Both books being released in June, 1963.

AF15 - June 1962

ASM 1 - Dec 1962

ASM 2 - Feb 1963

ASM 3 - April 1963

ASM 4/ST Ann 2 - June 1963

I think they all do, and someone drew the chest logo on @Frisco Larson's copy...

Yup…just like Action 20 (missing Superman logo on his chest) and Tec 29 (missing Bat logo from his chest)…history repeats itself :insane:

Jack wasn’t familiar with drawing Spidey very much so I’m sure it was an honest omission.

Well he did drew the af 15 cover. Maybe from when he did that to that annual forgot the look of character. Did jack do interiors and is logos missing inside book?

I think what saved the AF 15 cover was Ditko inking it. As to interiors, Kirby penciled and Ditko inked the Spider-Man/Human Torch story.

You can't begin to understand how embarrassing it is when I, as a former math teacher, can't count.

This is not for sale (unfortunately), but adorns a wall in one of the booths at a local antique warehouse.
