Here's an interesting contrast between assigned grade and eye appeal. This is the only under 100 ASM issue I have in 9.8 and what's cool about it is that it was part of the Colorado Comics/"Scotty's Spideys" ASM 1-100 registry set that was sold by Heritage in 2021 but still sits at the top of this registry set category. 

I bought the 9.8 because it was recently sitting unsold for a while at a price well below the current market, but the 9.4 I had previously also wouldn't look out of place in a 9.8 slab. I've seen (as we all have) many books that are graded 8.0 - 9.0 that look like much higher graded books (but at a much more friendly price). 

ASM #27 is a good example. You can find lots of examples of that book in the 8.0 - 9.0 range that look spectacular.

I like the 9.4 better...the structure/spine/presentation better serves my OCD   That 27 is one helluva 8.0!!
