If this cover had had any color to it, it would be in my top 10 from 1-150

I'm missing all the tough black cover books like #s 55, 60, 63 and 72. The 9.4 and 9.6 copies I've been looking for have been pretty expensive when they pop up. 

I agree that Romita's cover art on #64 is pretty spectacular with all the city details below the action in the sky.

I also agree that the Vulture was very prominent in the early run. It seems like several of the original villains were sort of forgotten. They could have had more Sandman and Electro covers and stories, as a few examples, sprinkled in there from time to time.

Yes.  And it didn't help that CGC could be brutally tight on grading this ish.

Issue 72.  Yeah that one is tough but not as tough as 63.
