A 7.5 has gotta be like a 9.8 for Los 4 Fantasticos

You are correct Sir, yes! Yeah, it's super hard to find these in nice shape. It's the highest and only graded copy. I DO have a raw one. The pic is from the auction I bought it from, and the pieces have been folded back down without incident.  lol

Sweet copy...on of the Top 5 most difficult FF in grade (9.0 or better).  I posted the following in August of last year so about a year ago and have highlighted the info re. #11.

Tom, I never get tired of the color strike on that #11...look at that white price circle!  Dream copy. :x

Mebbe I shoulda kept it...

Coupled with the color gradation background that I always really dug (and still do).  Interestingly, Spidey covers never really used this technique (#7 sort of)...it was a Kirby thing I guess.  Also there aren't as many as you think for the primary Silver Age titles...for FF, issues 11, 16 and 27.  For JIM/THOR...issues 87, 95, 116 and 125 and for X-Men the iconic #4.  And used a bit in Pre-Hero JIM 58 and 76...TOS 3, 15 and 18 and TTA 3, 13, 15, 17 and 32...I don't have all the Pre-Hero Strange Tales cover images handy so I didn't explore those...

I love those covers too!  Not sure why the color pallette for that effect almost always seemed to go brown/red/orange/yellow, but they really stand out.  You did forget one pre-hero JIM though, probably the best of the bunch:

Also, would you consider these two JIM/Thor books to count?

I stand corrected sir. :headbang:  I sort of discount the blue ones (which is like ASM 7...and 17 and 18 as well) as with the JIM 89.  They're not near as dramatic.

Just picked up a nice 8.5 white pager of FF 30. I don't have pics yet, but it's one of my favorite issues and was also on the cartoon from the 60's if memory serves. GOD BLESS....
