What do these typically sell for?

The books are G.I. Joe #2, 26, 27 and they are all in 9.2 or better. Is there a market for these? If so, what do they usually sell for?

As far as I know, these are all reprints. I've seen dealers with stacks of those bagged sets. And a quick look shows eBay sales between $1 and $4.

 

I think its great to have as a reader set, but not much else.

Yeah, I think they are reprints also. The originals would have 60c cover price if memory serves.

 

Besides, the simple fact that the bag contains 2,26,27 ('rare', snake eyes app., snake eyes app.) tends to suggest reprints.

Another sign that they are reprints: the originals should have the webbed Spidey face in the UPC box. Black Spidey means they came out later.

i see the #2 in a lot of 50 cent boxes (as well as the 26 and 27), i get excited, and then i realize it's a reprint

The bag has the UPC code. Look beneath it at the actual comic cover that's a Black Spidey.

There is no doubt these are reprints. But there is a great story behind this particular set of reprints. I'll try to find time this week to post it.

I know at one of the local comic shops here in South Bend they sell for $2.50 a piece, and there's alot of them.
