BillBreck
Anybody need a slabbed copy of Avengers #45? http://cgi.ebay.com/CGC-GRADED-1967-AVENGERS-45-MARVEL-COMIC_W0QQitemZ120293488735QQihZ002QQcategoryZ32726QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
drewincanada
I checked the registry. If I picked this up, it would add a whole 2 points to my registry total. Such a deal!

Such a deal! lolWouldn't it be funny if somebody tried to get the lowest possible registry score for a given set?
drewincanada
An entertaining, but expensive, proposition. Think of all the slabbing fees for those worthless books.

drewincanada
Just got this today.GOD BLESS... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) (thumbs u That's a darned sharp 8.5! The only thing I can see that prevents it from a 9.0 or 9.2 is the bottom right corner. Congratulations! Can I have it? It would make me very happy. drewincanada
Yes, it's a good price - but I'm not fond of date stamps. And it doesn't present as well as your copy.

I'm a night shift worker and it had just been posted one morning when I got off. Some one had already made a counter offer of OSPG guide, but I decided to pull the trigger. It was a tad pricey but that book is dirt cheap in guide.I always thought it should be higher than the # 2...I wish I could've afforded to go for the 9.0 # 3 on the focused auction, but at $1550 and climbing, it's out of my league. This one is not bad...they don't turn up with white pages much.GOD BLESS...-jimbo(a friend of jesus) (thumbs u

Karma23
There are some beautiful books showing up in this thread lately! Thanks for showing them. The #17 is one sweet looking book and the #3 is just about my favorite book from the early part of the run, aside from 4 of course.
drewincanada
This just in... Yikes! That is absolutely fantastic! I looked it up in the Heritage archive, but that sale was a few years back. Who was the owner in the interim, and who did you buy it from? I'm always amazed when books of this caliber and scarcity come up for sale, and I always wonder what prompted the seller to let it go.
