Hulk 1

unloading a "common" 9.4 Spidey #14 for a scarcer Hulk #1 even at 8.0 sounds like a great deal to me too. My only caveat is that the 8.0 - 8.5 level might get a lot more crowded eventually in the census -- (tho the Spidey will too...) but given the apparent scarcity of ANY HG Hulk 1s, you will probably be better off long term with the Hulk. It may stay in the top 10 copies when it all sorts out.

But I guess a straight trade might not be a good idea from comgeeks perspective, especially right now with the movie hype potentially leading to a killer sale like the Bethlehem bonanza was for the seller.

For that price I would rather try to trade for the FF#1 7.5 from Bob Storms. Then take the $4500 you would have used hitting the BIN and buy 9.2 Spidey #14. But there is no way either one of these guys would take a trade like that. Spidey #14 is overvalued IMO.

This is a nice-looking 6.5. I've snagged various scans of this book graded, and this is one of the nicer 6.0-7.0 copies I've seen - couple light spine stresses, corner crease bottom right, but well-centered with a nice, dark cover and no marvel chipping (or pre-chipping).

Yep this blows the other one out of the water.. looks like the guy wants more due to the movie though. I was looking at spending right at the 3,000 to 3,250. However, I'll probably have to wait b/c it looks like those who are selling want "movie hype" prices.

Is a nice looking book for a 6.5...canadate for the ol' crack/re-sub/ and flip... 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

Not if his reserve is close to his BIN. You can get a CGC 7.0 for that price.

How is a ASM 14 9.4 common? there are only 8 9.4's in the census that's nothing
